Requiem for an ever-triumphing capitalism
Requiem for an ever-triumphing capitalism
Roubaix, December 2008. I just don't understand the reason why this ruin was preserved from the bulldozer, as the whole factory was destroyed...It always make me think of a Nazi concentration camp chimney which would have been on purpose kept protected for remembrance purpose. But here, in downtown Roubaix, this might only remind former workers (mostly now unemployed) that they had a job some days ago...Urbanism architects might be crazy, no? Leica M6 & Portra 160VC film.
